I am proud to announce that this very evening I have received my 800,000th visitor to my Hubs. If anyone would have told me when I started writing on HubPages that one day 800,000 people would have seen my work I would not have believed it. I feel truly blessed.
Hub Pages provides a tremendous platform for writers to easily publish their work, complete with pictures and videos. Hub Pages has a wonderful community of writers that offers valuable feedback on one's articles. HubPages is a place where you can make good friends and read thousands of interesting Hubs—internet magazine articles with pictures.
I want to thank all of my regular and occasional readers who have supported and encouraged my writing. HubPages is a fabulous place on which to hone any writer's craftsmanship and writing skills. I highly recommend Hub Pages to anyone who wants to publish original articles and essays.

TRAFFIC SOURCES FOR MY HUBS
My traffic sources have certainly changed. I have noticed a big drop in readership from other writers on Hub Pages, whom we generally call Hubbers. Since I started writing on HubPages, 19 percent of my Page Views have generously come from other Hubbers. These days, they only represent 4 percent of my visitors. I do not know if this is a drop in my personal popularity among Hubbers or if less of the writers in the HubPages Community read Hubs nowadays.
While the percentage is down, it is mostly because of an increase in my hits from Search Engines, for which I am, of course, grateful. Nonetheless, I used to average well over 6,000 Page Views each month from other Hubbers and now I only get 1,400. Page Views from Google are up from my historical average of 35 percent to over 50 percent of all my visitors lately.
HUBS I HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT HUBBING
I have published previous Hubs about Hubbing. Among these are:
MY EXPERIENCES ON HUB PAGES was published the day I received my 50,000th visitor. I had written 95 Hubs in 7 months and had accumulated 798 Followers at that point. In that Hub I share some other statistics, reveal how I heard about HubPages, talk about how I pick my topics, disclose what subjects draw the most readers for me, write about the Hub Pages Community, and list my most and least popular Hubs up to that fateful day.
100,000 PAGE VIEWS ON HUB PAGES was published after 11 months as a Hubber. I had written 138 Hubs and had 1,200 Followers at that time. In this Hub I listed my hottest Hubs so far. I also discuss my concept for my Hubbing career and my strategy of how I intend to gain readers. And I venture into the unpleasant area of censorship by the HubPages Staff and my personal experiences with that.
200,000 PAGE VIEWS ON HUB PAGES was written 15 months into my HubPages experience, when I had published 178 Hubs and had 1,600 Followers. In that Hub I discuss the Google AdSense program. I also get into my Hubs that have been demonetized and why. And I share what I have learned about using the HubPages Platform. As usual, I share my top Hubs for Page Views.
300,000 HITS ON MY HUBS was published after I had been a Hubber for 19 months. It was my 200th Hub. I listed my best and worst Hubs—as judged by the number of visitors they had received. I talk about what HubPages is and what the HubPages Staff does. And I discuss the books I am writing.
400,000 PAGE VIEWS ON HUBPAGES was written when I had attained 2,338 Followers and had published 218 Hubs over a time period of 22 months. In this brief article I discuss what Hubbing is all about, how I pick my subjects, and what topics have proven most popular for me. I also include a few funny little stories from your author's life.

I have been blessed to receive 800,000 Page Views on my 254 Hubs. I have been writing on HubPages for 32 months and I have 2,912 Followers.
I now get over 2,200 hits per day; about 15,500 each week; and 67,500 a month. My Page Views are holding pretty steady.
I am grateful that I found HubPages. I am thankful that so many people have read and commented on my work. I have read tens of thousands of Hubs by other Hubbers and have enjoyed them immensely. HubPages and the Hub Pages Community have enriched my life. I have learned a great deal, vastly improved my writing ability, and had a great deal of fun. Thank you!

Well, simply put - you deserve every bit of that, and in my opinion - a hell of a lot MORE traffic. I feel that way because of the absolute superiority of your historical essays over any other single content provider on this website.

From what I learned from attending a HubCamp in Houston is that it takes a while for hubs to "mature" and as they do, more search engines find them and obviously more people (outside of the hubbers on HubPages) end up reading them. I am finding the same results. At first and when a new hub is first published it is practically all hubbers who first read and comment. After that...it is search engines who drive the most traffic to the hubs. Here is to your next milestone! ONE MILLION VISITORS!
